I didn't know much about what he wanted other than that it had a basket in it (like at McDonalds) So I found this and got it for him, and we have enjoyed many meals already!! Fried okra, fish, hush puppies, pork chops and even homed corn dogs. The kids are loving it too. Love this product, so far!!

Comment: I ordered this deep fryer based on the previous Amazon customer reviews and I could not be happier with my purchase. I fried tater tots and popcorn shrimp the day after I received my order and they turned out great! The temperature was fine. I monitored my temps using a Maverick digital oil thermometer and the Presto Profry kept it right on the money with quick recovery times after each fry batch. The cleanup was easy. My initial impression is GREAT!! Hopefully we will see years of trouble free use.

Comment: Well I have had this fryer for 5 years. I have to purchase another one due to the fryer shutting off. I have to push it against my cabinet in order to get it to stay on. What do I expect after two moves and tons of usage. Over the five years I loved this machine. It worked great and was easy to clean. I definity got every penny it was worth out of it.
