This product came to me with some damage, all cosmetic, except for the sharp edges and bad burrs on the 1 inch holes in the bottom metal piece that rest over the heating elements. They were so bad that I felt that if someone was not careful with this when cleaning that they would seriously cut themselves. So, I took care of that myself. The seller does not stock any spare parts for this fryer. The unit got up to 375+ degrees F. (which is good) and kicked off like it was suppose to. However, There may be some issues with the thermocouple. Once food had been prepared in it, it struggled to get back up to 350 degrees F. even with nothing in it. This is a lot of fryer for the money (made over seas), compared to what ones cost that are made in the U.S.A.. But, it really needs to be able to stay at 360 to 375+ degrees F.. The cheap pamphlet that it comes with states that the fryer is 2X1700 watts or 3400 watts total not the 5000 watts as they advertise it to be. I asked the seller...Read more

I almost ordered one of these but then I read that it was 5000 watts and only 110 volts (I am an electrian) To get 5000 watts on 110 volts you'd need a 60 or 70 amp single pole breaker in your panel box ,that does not make any sense or at least is very impractical you'd also need a size 8-awg or 6-awg copper wire running to the fryer so those specs. don't make any sense. I am sure it's not 5000 watts.

This is the worst experience I've had shopping on line. When I received the fryer, it had clearly been used. Grease was splattered all over every piece of it. It is very poor quality and not worth half of what the are asking. In addition, when my husband called them and told them they had sold us a used product that they had represented as new, they said fine, send it back at your own expense. People like this make on line shopping very suspicious.
