Cons: Thin sheetmetal with sharp edges. Machine oil on stainless when you unpack that you have to clean.

Pros: Definitely has the wattage to get hot enough so food is Not Soggy. (I've found that even the best units in stores do not get hot enough for my taste).

So, if your like us and not satisified with the temperature of the other units you've bought (which are sitting in the cabinet), then get this "Bootleg Version" of a commercial unit without spending the money on a true commercial unit, which would take 220 volts anyway.

Put it on the back porch, keep the lid on to hold down the splash & retain heat, and read the Chinese to English translation of the owners manual while your food is cooking for a good laugh!

This fryer is ok. I really thought it would be bigger with better material. It cooks well and holds heat but temp set was celsius and the metal is extremly thin. This size is ok but I see plenty of cuts while cleaning this thin metal. Lots of home fryers are to small but the metal is more sturdy.
