An adjustable thermostat heats oil to between 325 F and 375 F to accomodate different oils and avoid overheating. Just set tthe timer for up to 30 minutes, and enjoy light, crispy onion rings, fried chicken or tempura without the constant check-backs required by old-fashioned stovetop frying. The removable fry basket is fully immersible, and rests on a basket clip to for draining and cooling. Lid, fry basket and basket handle are all dishwasher safe.
